African (hyphen) American, Attorney General Eric Holder, is doing all he can to protect MS-13 illegal alien gang members that confessed to murder.
“I am proud to be counted among the African Diaspora — this continent is my ancestral home, I am of this place…proud to be its [America's] first African-American Attorney General.” — Eric Holder
(Newsmax) Attorney General Eric Holder has intervened in a federal conspiracy and murder trial to order prosecutors not to seek the death penalty for three El Salvadoran men who are illegal aliens. The three robbed and shot a man named Claros Luna on July 29, 2009 in Alexandria, VA.
JournoLists implode. Who knew the mainstream media had a liberal agenda that called for the rewriting of Obama history?
(NewsBusters) The liberal media have no interest in being fair or unbiased. In fact, they are deliberately violating any sense of journalistic ethics.
We said in 2008 that the media were making excuses for Jeremiah Wright and now we have the proof.
Google search = political power. Google’s secret relationship – now revealed – with NSA involves more than collecting ‘streetviews‘ in your neighborhood. Besides illegally collecting personal data through your wifi connection, Google has supplied core search technology for Intellipedia, a highly-secured online CIA system.
(Politico) Google’s aggressive tactics have put it on top of the business world, and now the Internet giant is looking to leverage the high profile and sterling connections of its CEO to achieve similar power in the political sphere.
Google boss Eric Schmidt is one of the nation’s most politically active business leaders — a man who uses the cachet of the company he leads, as well as his own charisma, to build strategic alliances in the Obama administration and on Capitol Hill.
Schmidt’s newly formed friendships in town have helped transform Google from a D.C. outsider into an Obama administration darling with growing clout in policy circles.
Schmidt has worked to forge relationships with a number of key members of Congress, giving generously to their campaigns and attending their fundraisers.
He recently hosted fundraisers for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Sens. Mark Warner (D-Va.). This year, he’s written $4,800 checks to both Senate Democrats from New York, Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand.

Documents show media plotting to kill stories about the Obama and Rev. Jeremiah Wright connection.
(Daily Caller) It was the moment of greatest peril for then-Sen. Barack Obama’s political career. In the heat of the presidential campaign, videos surfaced of Obama’s pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, angrily denouncing whites, the U.S. government and America itself. Obama had once bragged of his closeness to Wright. Now the black nationalist preacher’s rhetoric was threatening to torpedo Obama’s campaign.”
“According to records obtained by The Daily Caller, at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.”
“In one instance, Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.”

JournoList proves media corruption. ”Liberalism is not taught in journalism school, it is expected.”
(North Star National) When news first broke that The Daily Caller had obtained documents and other such evidence asserting that a left-wing journalist web site had plotted to cover up controversial stories revolving around then-candidate Barack Obama’s pastor, as well as conspire to destroy the lives of anyone who opposes their agenda, most Americans probably shrugged it off realizing this is simply old news.
Not only is this kind of journalism bad for business, but more importantly dangerous for democracy, not because these so-called journalists harbor far-left views, but because they knowingly and unashamedly bury stories that will hurt public figures who share the same beliefs.
But for now we have to deal with the very real fact that American media may be completely corrupt to an unprecedented level.
Burying controversial stories in order to advance a political agenda doesn’t change the facts. The bad guys will always be the bad guys no matter how many times you sweep them under the rug.
In order to get a better picture of the exact level of hatred and disgust to which American journalists have descended, I find myself reflecting back on a very powerful statement a former colleague of mine once made.
“Liberalism is not taught in journalism school, it is expected.”

The 12+ million illegal aliens in America will not be covered under the new Tyranny Plan, aka Health Care Bill. Therefore, amnesty must be awarded.
A queer pattern is blossoming at the White House. Probably just our homophobic, racist mindset…
US Pushing UN Status for Gay Rights Group
Newsmax — The Obama administration and 14 members of the U.S. Congress are urging the U.N. Economic and Social Council to accredit the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission so it can work at the United Nations.
The U.S.-based organization, which has offices in South Africa, Argentina and the Philippines, has been trying since 2007 to get consultative status with the council, which serves as the main U.N. forum for discussing international economic and social issues.
The organization, the U.S. government and the members of Congress believe the group’s application has not been approved because it promotes gay rights.
The council, known as ECOSOC, is currently holding its high-level meeting at U.N. headquarters and the United States decided to seek approval directly from its membership.
A U.S. draft resolution circulated Friday would have ECOSOC grant the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission consultative status.
Jessica Stern, the commission’s program director, said the group expects the 54 members of ECOSOC to vote on the U.S. draft on Monday.

Sick America. “Unexpected” financial crisis looms. Sad, no one warned us.
(Real Clear Markets) As a president, it’s one thing to know you have a big fiscal problem. It’s quite another when a panel you appointed tells you the policies you have in mind will only make things worse.
That’s what happened Sunday, when leaders of President Obama’s deficit commission offered up the darkest of outlooks for our financial future — calling current trends in U.S. budgets a “cancer” that will “destroy the country from within” unless halted soon.
Pretty sobering words. Let’s hope Rahm “Never Waste A Good Crisis” Emanuel is unable to find something to exploit there. But in case Democrats in the White House and Congress think this is their golden chance to raise taxes and permanently increase the size of government, they should think again.
“We can’t tax our way out,” admitted Erskine Bowles, co-chairman of Obama’s deficit commission and formerly President Clinton’s chief of staff. “We’ve got to cut spending or increase revenues or do some combination of that.”
And this from the Washington Post:
Federal Reserve leaders marked down their expectations for growth and inflation last month, concluding that the economic recovery is proceeding more slowly than they had thought in the spring but that the slowdown did not warrant new policy actions.
But Fed leaders did agree to explore options for supporting the economy further in case conditions worsen.
“The changes to the outlook were viewed as relatively modest and as not warranting policy accommodation beyond that already in place,” said minutes of the Fed’s June 22-23 policy meeting, released along with revised economic forecasts. “However, members noted that in addition to continuing to develop and test instruments to exit from the period of unusually accommodative monetary policy, the Committee would need to consider whether further policy might become appropriate if the outlook were to worsen appreciably.”
In forecasts made in advance of the meeting and released Wednesday, the officials expected that gross domestic product will grow 3 to 3.5 percent this year, compared with a forecast of 3.2 to 3.7 percent at their April meeting. They modestly downgraded their projection for 2011 as well. That lower growth could translate into unemployment staying higher for longer — Fed leaders expect the jobless rate to be 9.2 to 9.5 percent in the fourth quarter of 2010, and to be 8.3 to 8.7 percent at the end of 2011, both slightly higher than in April forecasts.
But they see little threat from inflation, projecting that prices will rise 1 to 1.1 percent this year, compared with the 1.2 to 1.5 percent rate they forecast in April. The new outlook is well below the 1.7 to 2 percent inflation rate that the Fed targets over the longer term.

Raids increasing on farms and private food-supply clubs: 5 tips for survival
grist.org — When the 20 agents arrived bearing a search warrant at her Ventura County farmhouse door at 7 a.m. on a Wednesday a couple weeks back, Sharon Palmer didn’t know what to say. This was the third time she was being raided in 18 months, and she had thought she was on her way to resolving the problem over labeling of her goat cheese that prompted the other two raids. (In addition to producing goat’s milk, she raises cattle, pigs, and chickens, and makes the meat available via a CSA.)
