Barack Obama makes history once again, this time choosing to skip the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scout National Jamboree in Virginia. Instead campainer-in-chief decided to appear on a woman’s talk show program; also taped. 45,000 Boy Scouts attended the Big Brother-esque spectacle.
The Emperor’s New Clothes. One of the morals from this Hans Christian Andersen tale is that one should not believe everything they are told, particularly when the evidence does not support the claim. It also highlights the illusory nature of re-packaging the old with something new — an exciting twist, or change, quickly embraced under the promise of a new hope, albeit false.
Sad Hill Cemetery is the name of the burial grounds where the Mexican standoff takes place during the finale of The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, filmed in 1966. Sergio Leone, the film’s director, hired 250 Spanish soldiers to build Sad Hill Cemetery in Carazo, Spain, near Salas de los Infantes. Construction of the graveyard took two full days.
Geographical coordinates of Sad Hill Cemetery’s location: 41º 59′ 25.86″ N, 3º 24′ 30.64″ W (41.990517, -3.408511)

More consumer safety liberal looniness — no rocks in school! Luckily the students found rocks inside heads of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Forbes — Michael Warring, president of American Educational Products in Fort Collins, Colo., had his shipment all ready: A school’s worth of small bags, each one filled with an igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rock. Then the school canceled its order. Says Warring, “They apparently decided rocks could be harmful to children.”
After all, who knows exactly what is in a piece of Mother Nature? There could be a speck of lead! The children will study a poster of rocks instead.
And so it goes in the unbrave new world, where nothing is safe enough. It’s a world brought to us by the once sane, now danger-hallucinating Consumer Product Safety Commission.

As government expands, liberty dies. ”We the people tell the government what to do; it doesn’t tell us,” from Ronald Reagan’s, “We The People” speech. “Man is not free unless government is limited.”
African (hyphen) American, Attorney General Eric Holder, is doing all he can to protect MS-13 illegal alien gang members that confessed to murder.
“I am proud to be counted among the African Diaspora — this continent is my ancestral home, I am of this place…proud to be its [America's] first African-American Attorney General.” — Eric Holder
(Newsmax) Attorney General Eric Holder has intervened in a federal conspiracy and murder trial to order prosecutors not to seek the death penalty for three El Salvadoran men who are illegal aliens. The three robbed and shot a man named Claros Luna on July 29, 2009 in Alexandria, VA.
JournoLists implode. Who knew the mainstream media had a liberal agenda that called for the rewriting of Obama history?
(NewsBusters) The liberal media have no interest in being fair or unbiased. In fact, they are deliberately violating any sense of journalistic ethics.
We said in 2008 that the media were making excuses for Jeremiah Wright and now we have the proof.
Google search = political power. Google’s secret relationship – now revealed – with NSA involves more than collecting ‘streetviews‘ in your neighborhood. Besides illegally collecting personal data through your wifi connection, Google has supplied core search technology for Intellipedia, a highly-secured online CIA system.
(Politico) Google’s aggressive tactics have put it on top of the business world, and now the Internet giant is looking to leverage the high profile and sterling connections of its CEO to achieve similar power in the political sphere.
Google boss Eric Schmidt is one of the nation’s most politically active business leaders — a man who uses the cachet of the company he leads, as well as his own charisma, to build strategic alliances in the Obama administration and on Capitol Hill.
Schmidt’s newly formed friendships in town have helped transform Google from a D.C. outsider into an Obama administration darling with growing clout in policy circles.
Schmidt has worked to forge relationships with a number of key members of Congress, giving generously to their campaigns and attending their fundraisers.
He recently hosted fundraisers for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Sens. Mark Warner (D-Va.). This year, he’s written $4,800 checks to both Senate Democrats from New York, Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand.
