The heavily marketed Russian female spy swap was the most efficient non-event ever to occur on American soil. Mighty timely, too. Angelina Jolie just happens to play a female Russian spy in her new movie, ‘Salt’ – all set for release.
(VOANews) Russia and the United States have completed the largest spy exchange since the Cold War. On Friday, at an airport in Vienna, Austria, an American plane and a Russian plane landed, parked side by side and exchanged occupants.
The Boston Channel celebrates this most unusual ‘coincidence’.
Jolie said the current headlines about the Russian spies are “bizarre” given the timing of the movie’s release. “Part of me thinks, ‘My god, what timing,’” Jolie said. “This is so strange. Is it relevant?”

Naturally, George Soros and his mainstream media portals are heavily tied to the “mysterious” Obama oil drilling decisions.
New Ban Hits Oil Drillers
(WSJ) The Obama administration on Monday issued a new order banning most new deepwater-drilling activities until Nov. 30, setting up a fresh round of conflict with the oil industry over when it will be safe to drill again offshore.
First Rig Sails Away Over Drilling Ban
(Washington Bureau) — July 9, 2010: Diamond Offshore announced Friday that its Ocean Endeavor drilling rig will leave the Gulf of Mexico and move to Egyptian waters immediately — making it the first to abandon the United States in the wake of the BP oil spill and a ban on deep-water drilling.
And the Ocean Endeavor’s exodus probably won’t be the last, according to oil industry officials and Gulf Coast leaders who warn that other companies eager to find work for the now-idled rigs are considering moving them outside the U.S.

Brazil’s planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan.
After looking to film director James Cameron to solve the BP oil spill, the instigator-in-chief keeps himself entertained via golf and suing the state of Arizona. Only a foul-mouthed, America-hating celebrity could alter Obama’s course. Today, just minutes after America heard actor Sean Penn’s Haiti crisis rant, Obama leapt into action.

Appearing on Monday’s CBS Early Show, actor Sean Penn described ongoing relief efforts in Haiti following January’s earthquake and condemned the media for its lack of coverage of the disaster beyond the initial weeks: ”I think that the media has played an enormous part in the failures that are still going on today and the recovery here and the relief operations.
